Job summary

Truist is seeking a Group Leader to oversee operational management, reliability, and governance for multiple on-premises and colocation data centers nationwide, with an objective of 100% uptime. You will guide geographically dispersed teams and third-party providers, driving project delivery, change control, and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or related training.
• 5 years of supervisory data center experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical data center systems.
• Understanding of health and safety policies and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Minimize risk and ensure high availability of critical infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Direct HVAC, electrical, life-safety, and monitoring system activities across sites.
• Manage budgets and vendor performance to meet uptime targets.
• Coordinate onboarding of new data center sites and transition projects.
• Develop governance, reporting, and process improvements for portfolio reliability.
• Provide leadership and training to internal staff and external contractors.
