Job summary

Truist is seeking a Group Leader to manage the operational oversight of multiple data centers nationwide, ensuring 100% uptime and governance across critical infrastructure. The role leads dispersed teams and coordinates with vendors, PM, and engineering to integrate new sites and improve performance.

Responsibilities include budget management, change control, and continuous process improvements, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5 years of data center supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety policies.
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act clearly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple on-prem and colocation data centers to ensure 100% uptime.
• Guide maintenance plans including preventive, predictive, and reactive activities.
• Direct staff and contractors across dispersed locations for HVAC, electrical and life-safety systems.
• Monitor and report on performance metrics, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Manage budgets and vendor relationships with KPIs and SLAs.
• Prepare governance, reporting, and decision-support material for leadership.
