Job summary

Google is seeking a Land Development and Portfolio Manager to lead pre-construction development on owned sites, finalize entitlements, and coordinate off-site infrastructure to ensure on-time, within-budget site operation and full capacity. You will build relationships with local jurisdictions, utility partners, and engineering teams to drive long-term success.

As part of the Data Center Land Development team within ICAM, you will manage post-acquisition asset life cycles and secure complex land

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience leading negotiations on land entitlements and infrastructure agreements using internal/external resources.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate utility infrastructure and extension agreements (water, wastewater, gas, power, roads) with providers and AHJs, ensuring timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate zoning, entitlements, easement actions, environmental mitigations, permitting (air, discharge), and grid/traffic impact studies to support development.
• Serve as lead liaison with local and national utility providers to secure capacity for planned data center developments.
• Manage development activities to meet infrastructure delivery schedules across capacity planning teams.
