Job summary

Google is seeking a Land Development and Portfolio Manager to lead pre-construction development on owned sites, manage land-use entitlements, and coordinate off-site infrastructure for data center projects.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure sites operate on schedule and within budget, engaging with local jurisdictions, utility partners, and engineering teams for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years leading negotiations or business development.
• Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or related field.
• Experience with greenfield land development and data center transactions.
• Experience drafting agreements and redlining; delivering presentations.
• Proven skill in land entitlements, infrastructure negotiations, and utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate utility infrastructure and extension agreements with providers and AHJs.
• Support civil, utility, and building construction programs; coordinate zoning and permits.
• Lead liaison with utility providers for supply strategy and capacity.
• Manage development activities to meet infrastructure delivery schedules.
