Job summary

Google is seeking a Land Development and Portfolio Manager to drive pre-construction development on owned sites, handling land-use entitlements, provider agreements, and off-site infrastructure to meet schedule, budget, and capacity targets. You will cultivate relationships with local jurisdictions, utility partners, and engineers to ensure long-term operational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience leading negotiations on land entitlements and infrastructure agreements on projects using a combination of internal and external resources.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate utility infrastructure and extension agreements (water, wastewater, gas, power, roads) with providers and AHJs.
• Support civil, utility, and building construction programs by ensuring campuses are development ready and aligned with schedules.
• Serve as the lead liaison with local and national utility providers for supply strategy.
• Manage all development activities to consistently meet or exceed infrastructure delivery schedules.
