Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction Design) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on complex data center projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Operations on a daily basis to ensure timely delivery within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering and 5+ years in commercial construction, with strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel for executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of commercial construction management experience across Lump Sum, CM@R and Design Build.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel for program updates and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus(es) with updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate monthly updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Present information to support efficient decision making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a master development program and budget for site(s).
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project(s).
• Develop and implement multi-phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
