Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Development Project Engineer (Data Center Construction) to assist with design, preconstruction and construction on multiple campus projects. You will interact with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Data Center Operations, communicating updates and coordinating complex schedules.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or construction management and 5+ years of commercial construction experience, with strong MS Office skills for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day to day activities.
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for each campus project.
• Prepare monthly development program and project status updates for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a master development program and capital budget.
