Job summary

Quality Technology Services (QTS) is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager to lead the design, preconstruction and construction activities for data center campuses in the United States. You will collaborate daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Operations staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include creating master development programs, managing entitlements, budgeting, procurement coordination, and handling submittals and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, CM@Risk, and Design Build.
• Experience with MS Office suite (PowerPoint for exec updates; Excel for budgets).
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• US Citizenship required by law due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate monthly updates for executive reviews and present information for decisions.
• Work with stakeholders to create a master development program, campus design, and capital budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for assigned site projects.
• Implement multi-phase site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality standards.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning; participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services.
• Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery with strategic procurement.
• Monitor submittals, change orders, and site budgets; review pay applications.
