Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Lead Superintendent - Data Center to independently manage all field operations on a $5B project. The role requires daily on-site presence, strong leadership, and coordination with multiple trade contractors to ensure schedule and quality.

The ideal candidate will have 7–12 years of superintendent experience on large commercial/industrial projects, OSHA 30, STS-C, and emergency response training. Gilbane University offers ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
• STS-C Certification is required.
• First Aid, CPR, AED and Stop the Bleed training preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet project schedule.
• Develops, documents, and communicates field work plans and changes.
• Maintains contract documents to anticipate problems and updates.
• Ensures permits are obtained for construction activities.
• Leads safety enforcement and regular contractor meetings.
• Maintains daily reports and project scheduling and forecasting.
