Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Senior General Superintendent II - Data Center to manage all field operations on one or more large projects. The role requires being on site daily, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring project goals are met safely and on schedule.

You will guide trades, monitor budgets, and implement the work plan while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. A strong safety culture and leadership presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (required).
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
• STS-C Certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience supervising large commercial/industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates trade contractors to meet schedule.
• Supervises and develops the project team.
• Manages the project budget for general conditions and Next 150/Site Services.
• Leads site walks with owner, architect/engineer, and financial institutions about progress.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to coordinate trades and anticipate problems.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily reports.
• Develops safety strategies and drives safety culture on site.
