Job summary

Army NAF at Fort Meade seeks a qualified leader to oversee Child and Youth Services programs, ensuring safe operations and staff accountability. You will coordinate budget development, staff supervision, and reporting to command while promoting parental involvement and program excellence.

Ideal candidates have 24 semester hours in relevant education fields, significant experience managing multiple CYS programs, and strong communication and analytical writing skills to support DoD and Army

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in child development or related field (24 semester hours) per the posting.
  • Alternatively, combination of education and experience with 24 hours in relevant subject.
  • Two years of professional experience managing at least two CYS programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program oversight and accountability for staff performance and safety of children.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise CYS personnel and staff assigned to CYS.
  • Manage funds and develop the annual budget for the installation CYS program.
  • Establish parental involvement and provide parent education opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and briefings on CYS matters; support EEO and AA objectives.
