Job summary

Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) seeks a supervisor to lead Child and Youth Services staff, ensuring developmentally appropriate care for children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years. You will steer program execution to support social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities include coaching team members, providing written instructions and materials, and planning age-appropriate lessons and activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience or knowledge in theories of child/youth development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of program staff to ensure developmentally appropriate care for children and youth ages 6 weeks to 18 years.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational plans and activities; provide written instructions and resources.
• Enforce health and safety standards including diapering, hand washing, cleaning, and safe sleep practices.
