Job summary

The Maryland Military Department seeks a Lead Child and Youth Program Coordinator on a contractual, 100% federally funded basis. The role follows a compressed Tue-Fri schedule, with occasional weekend duty for military events, based in Baltimore, MD.

The incumbent serves as SME for MDARNG CYS, oversees statewide operations, budgets, and compliance across deployment and steady-state phases. Key duties include directing the state CYS operations, supervising staff, managing budgets and strategic

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Four (4) years of administrative staff or professional work experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, organize and review the work of the state contractual Child and Youth Program Coordinator.
• Supervise the Child and Youth Program Coordinator.
• Formulate, justify, and manage the annual State CYS budget, marketing plan and yearly training plan.
• Serve as the authoritative state SME on DoD, Army, and NGB regulatory requirements for youth services, child abuse prevention and program directives.
• Direct inter-agency coordination with various entities.
