Job summary

Maryland Military Department seeks a Lead Child and Youth Program Coordinator for a federally funded contract position in Baltimore, MD. The role oversees statewide CYS operations, ensures compliance, and manages budgets while coordinating with DoD, Army, and NGB directives.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, develop annual budgets, and ensure program alignment with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Experience: Four (4) years of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• Notes: Substitutions including college credit hours,Bachelor's or Master's degrees, or military service may substitute for the experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, organize and review the work of the state contractual Child and Youth Program Coordinator.
• Supervise the Child and Youth Program Coordinator.
• Formulate, justify, and manage the annual State CYS budget, marketing plan and yearly training plan.
• Serve as the authoritative state SME on DoD, Army, and NGB regulatory requirements for youth services, child abuse prevention and program directives.
• Direct inter-agency coordination with various entities.
