Job summary

You will guide less experienced colleagues, negotiate pricing within approved parameters, and ensure accurate order entry, pricing, and timely deliveries for our customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 5+ years related experience.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong product knowledge and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to complex customer inquiries, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via phone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Negotiates price within parameters to influence gross profit.
• Adjusts non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Manages inventory levels and sources products.
• Determines cost-effective shipping method for orders.
• Handles returns and expedites backorders.
• Coaches and guides less experienced representatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
