Job summary

Motion Industries in Omaha, NE seeks a Customer Service Representative II to determine and meet customer expectations. You will handle inquiries, quotes, and order entry, while building relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.

The role requires high school diploma or GED plus 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication, negotiation, and computer skills. Occasional support for associates and cross-functional teams is expected in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influences gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within parameters.
• Adjusts non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels to fulfill customer orders.
• May place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO without approval.
• Expedites backorders and prepares orders for shipment.
• Sources products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventories.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Handles customer returns when needed.
• Supports specific customers and assists junior staff with issues.
