Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in.
• Influence gross profit through price negotiation within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer needs while maximizing profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Maintain inventory levels and expedite backorders as needed.
• Source products from branch, distribution center, or suppliers.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Handle customer returns and assist less experienced staff.
• Provide quotes and respond to complex inquiries.
