Motion Industries seeks a Customer Service Representative II in Salisbury, NC to determine and meet customer expectations, handle inquiries, quotes, and order entry, and guide less-experienced colleagues.

The role supports pricing, inventory, and shipment coordination, builds relationships, and resolves problems to drive repeat business while maintaining accurate records and efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to proficiently communicate and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Purchase orders, quotes, and product knowledge are part of daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• May handle more challenging inquiries with experience and training.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Influences gross profit through negotiating sale and purchase prices within parameters.
• Adjusts non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels by ordering items as needed.
• May place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO without approval.
• Expedites backorders and processes shipments to customers.
• Sources products from branch, DC, or supplier inventories.
