Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with 3–5 years related experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and solid computer proficiency to manage orders and inventories efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and handle order entry.

• Influence gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and improvements.
• Manage inventory levels and expedite backorders as needed.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Assist less experienced representatives and resolve customer needs.
