Motion Industries in Earth City, MO is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative who handles complex inquiries, quotes, and order entry under limited supervision. The role leverages deep product knowledge to meet customer expectations and strengthen relationships.

You will guide less experienced staff, coordinate order fulfillment, pricing, and shipping decisions, and support inventory planning across branches and suppliers.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to multi-task.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to complex customer inquiries, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, email, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influences Motion Industries' gross profit through pricing within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Orders items to ensure inventory levels are adequate for customers.
• Expedites backorders and prepares orders for shipment.
• Source products from branch, DC, or supplier inventories.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• May handle customer returns.
• May be assigned to one customer.
• Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced CSRs.
• Assists others with addressing customer needs and resolving problems.
• May be responsible for quality and/or safety in the branch.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
