Sparks, NV – Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative II to ensure customer expectations are met and to support specific customers as needed.

The role involves responding to inquiries, handling quotes and orders, and negotiating prices to influence gross profit while maintaining service levels. The position emphasizes relationship-building and accurate order processing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is typically required.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Related experience or equivalent combination accepted.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in.
• Negotiates sale and purchase prices to influence gross profit within parameters.
• Adjusts non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Determines the most cost effective shipping method for customer orders.
• May place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order.
• Expedites backorders and prepares orders for shipment to customers.
• Sifts through inventory sourcing in branch, DC, or supplier stock.
• Assists less experienced Customer Service Representatives with addressing customer needs.
