Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative II under general supervision to determine and meet customer expectations, possibly guiding less experienced staff or supporting specific customers.

Duties include responding to inquiries, providing quotes, and processing orders by phone, email, or walk-in, while negotiating prices within parameters and supporting inventory needs to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3–5 years related experience.
• Demonstrated communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Influences gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within parameters.
• Adjusts non-contract pricing to meet customer needs while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Maintains inventory levels and expedites backorders to fulfill orders.
