Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative II to determine and meet customer expectations. The role includes order entry, quoting, pricing negotiation, and guiding less experienced staff as needed.

Responsibly building relationships, maintaining inventory, and selecting cost-effective shipping are also key parts of the job. A high school diploma and several years of related experience are typical requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in.
• Influences gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels by ordering items as needed.
• Expedites backorders and prepares orders for shipment.
• Sources products from branch, DC, or supplier inventory.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• May handle customer returns and support specific customers.
• Assists less experienced CSRs with item location and problem resolution.
