Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative II in the United States. The role focuses on accurately determining and meeting customer expectations, supporting less experienced teammates, and handling a range of inquiries and orders.

Responsibilities include processing quotes, placing orders, negotiating prices, and ensuring inventory and shipment accuracy while maintaining strong customer relationships.

• Ability to multi-task and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Negotiates sale price and purchase price to influence gross profit within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Maintains inventory levels by ordering items to meet customer needs.
• May place orders without approval for orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO.
• Expedites backorders and sources products from inventory or suppliers.
• Determines the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders.
• May handle customer returns and support specific customers.
• Assists less experienced representatives with addressing customer needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
