Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative II to determine customer needs and ensure full satisfaction. You will respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and manage order entry to support key accounts.

In this role, you will place orders, negotiate pricing within parameters, and monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages. You will help maintain strong customer relationships and drive process improvements while supporting other team members.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong computer and negotiating abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via phone, fax, email, or in person.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods and expedites backorders when needed.
• May place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO without approval.
• Assists less experienced reps and supports specific customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
