Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative in Salt Lake City to deliver superior service. Responsibilities include processing orders, coordinating with sales/production, and resolving billing issues while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires five years in customer service, experience with order entry systems, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in a customer service role handling orders.
• Experience with order entry systems and building customer relationships.
• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and track orders through scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal departments for on-time delivery and accurate invoicing.
• Communicate account activity to Sales and production teams.
• Coordinate requests for product specifications, availability, shipping, quotes, samples.
• Serve as a link between the customer and design, sales and production teams for scheduling and issue resolution.
• Maintain organized customer files.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints including billing issues; escalate as needed.
• Manage on-hand inventory levels and reconcile to orders and forecasts.
