Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring for a Customer Service Representative in Salt Lake City. The role focuses on delivering superior service, handling inquiries on product availability, pricing, freight, allocations, and delivery dates, and maintaining order accuracy and timely invoicing.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design, sales, and production teams to meet customer requirements, resolving complaints, and managing inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to high school diploma required.
• Two (2) years' previous work experience in a customer service role with experience handling customer orders on an order entry system, and maintaining / building strong positive customer business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and track assigned orders through to scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and accurate invoicing.
• Communicate account activity to Sales Representatives and other departments.
• Coordinate requests for product specifications, availability, shipping, quotes, and samples.
• Serve as a link between customer and design, sales, and production teams to meet requirements.
• Maintain organized customer files and resolve billing issues.
• Manage on-hand inventory levels and reconcile to orders and forecasts.
