Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive our technical go-to-market strategy as a trusted advisor and primary architect of the customer journey. You will bridge technical strategy and business value, guiding enterprise clients from pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment, and expansion.

You’ll operate as a quota-carrying technologist, leveraging AI-augmented workflows to minimize admin toil and maximize strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role with the ability to translate complex concepts into business value.
• Strong architectural mindset for enterprise network and security designs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for C-level interactions.

Responsibilities

• Technical Validation: lead discovery, map customer infra to Cloudflare architectures and define evaluation plans.
• Customer Adoption & Value Realization: own onboarding, ensure quick time-to-value and healthy deployments.
• Commercial Accountability & Expansion: drive new business and account growth with measurable outcomes.
• Trusted Advisory: maintain ongoing relationship across lifecycle including risk mitigation and deployment confidence.
• AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: use AI to automate routine tasks and free time for advisory work.
