Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive the technical go-to-market strategy, bridging technical strategy and business value for enterprise clients. You will guide pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment, and expansion, acting as a quota-bearing technologist with AI-augmented workflows to reduce administrative toil.

As part of GTM, you will own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion, collaborating with Account Execs to ensure successful outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role or engineer-led advisory.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for executives.
• Proven track record in SaaS or cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical deep-dive discovery with account executives and map customer infra to Cloudflare architectures.
• Own onboarding design and ensure rapid time-to-value for customers after deployment.
• Drive technical QBRs to translate platform capabilities into ROI for leaders.
• Act as a trusted advisor on architecture, AI controls, and deployment confidence.
• Leverage AI-powered workflows to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
