Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of crane repair and maintenance experience.
• 3-4 years of electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Commitment to safe working and driving practices.
• Willingness to work at heights and travel as required.
• Basic computer skills for crane inspection software.

Responsibilities

• On-call availability and after-hours service as required.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes at customer sites.
• Train and mentor field technicians.
• Perform OSHA crane and hoist inspections and generate reports.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule work.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety issues and advise improvements.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicles, and assets in safe condition.
• Operate tools and vehicles safely and report deficiencies.
• Maintain stock of forms and materials in the vehicle.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Attend trainings and seminars as required.
• Participate in HCSG 5 Marks program.
