Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc is seeking a Senior Technician to specialize in modernization, repair, and upgrades of cranes. You will lead field technicians, diagnose complex failures, and coordinate with management to schedule work at customer sites.

This on-site role requires 5–7 years crane repair experience, willingness to travel 20–50%, and the ability to work off heights. A safety-first mindset and strong communication are essential; on-call and after-hours availability are expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years crane repair & maintenance experience.
• 3–4 years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willing to work at various heights and travel 20–50%.
• Able to communicate well and work independently or as a team.
• Basic computer skills for web-based crane inspection programs.

Responsibilities

• On-call and after-hours availability as required.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Train and mentor field technicians.
• Perform OSHA crane and hoist inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule and complete work daily.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety improvements.
