Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group seeks a Senior Technician to modernize and repair cranes, perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and upgrade systems. You will lead field technicians and serve as the liaison between management and customers in a safety-first, 24/7 service environment.

Responsibilities include crane inspections, repairing hoists, mentoring teams, and coordinating with service/branch managers to plan daily work. Travel and varied shifts may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years crane repair and maintenance experience.
• 3–4 years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Basic computer skills for web-based crane inspection programs.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of hand tools and/or have hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to be on-call and provide after hour services as required.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes at customer locations.
• Train and mentor field technicians.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule and complete daily work.
• Consult with customers regarding repair and safety-related issues and discuss recommendations.
• Maintain all company equipment, vehicles, and assets in safe working order.
