Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a Senior Technician to specialize in modernization and repair of cranes. You will lead field technicians, troubleshoot complex crane malfunctions, and coordinate with management to ensure safe, efficient service at customer sites.

The role requires strong communication, self-sufficiency, and a commitment to safety in a 24/7 service environment with on-call, after-hours and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years crane repair and maintenance experience.
• 3–4 years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair and maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after-hours services as required.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Train and mentor field technicians.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule daily work.
