Job summary
Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support the company’s commercial contracting function and strategic initiatives. The role focuses on SaaS, software licensing, strategic partnerships, cloud services, AI-enabled offerings, data processing, and related commercial arrangements.
The position collaborates with Sales, Product, Partner, Customer Success, Strategy, Security, Finance, and Procurement to scale contracting processes and manage risk in a hybrid work
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Intelligence, flexibility, creativity, diligence, responsiveness, and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and legal research tools; familiarity with Salesforce, Ironclad and Asana.
Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations of software, SaaS and cloud agreements.
- Provide strategic legal advice and manage contract volume.
- Engage with customers to ensure they feel heard and deliver.
- Suggest improvements to contracting processes and forms.
- Leverage AI/legal tech tools to improve efficiency.
- Support pricing initiatives with Finance and Ops.
- Navigate internal approvals and respond to stakeholders.
- Work with MS Office, Salesforce and Ironclad.
