Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions to serve as a senior legal advisor supporting the company's commercial contracting function and strategic business initiatives.

You will draft, review, negotiate, and advise on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, AI-enabled offerings, data processing, and strategic partnerships, partnering with Sales, Product, Security, Finance and Compliance to scale contracts and enable growth.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing in the United States.
• 8+ years of experience in technology transactions.
• Extensive SaaS, software, cloud services, and data processing contract experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled products and emerging technologies.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer, procurement, and strategic commercial negotiations and transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate software, SaaS, hybrid cloud, and AI-related agreements.
• Advise internal stakeholders with strategic legal counsel and issue-spotting.
• Improve contracting processes and standard forms to scale operations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Security, Finance, and Compliance.
• Support pricing initiatives and governance projects.
