Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions to advise on a broad range of customer-facing and strategic commercial contracts, with emphasis on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, and AI-enabled offerings.

The role partners with Sales, Product, Finance, Security, and other teams to enable growth, manage risk, and scale contracting processes, including pricing governance and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Experience with complex software/SaaS contracts and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer, procurement, and strategic commercial negotiations for software, SaaS, cloud services, AI offerings, and strategic partnerships.
• Provide strategic legal advice and manage a high volume of contracts across teams.
• Engage with customers to ensure they feel heard and deliver.
• Improve contracting processes and standard forms to increase efficiency.
• Leverage AI tools and legal tech to enhance workflows.
