Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions to serve as a senior legal adviser supporting the company's commercial contracting function and strategic initiatives.

The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, AI-enabled offerings, and data processing agreements, while partnering with Sales, Product, Security, and Finance to enable growth and manage risk.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of relevant in-house and/or law firm experience.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, data processing and enterprise agreements.
• JD from an accredited law school and US licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer, procurement, and strategic commercial negotiations for software, SaaS, and AI offerings.
• Provide strategic legal advice and manage high-volume contracts with varying complexity.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Security, IT, and Compliance to meet deadlines and solve problems.
• Suggest and implement improvements to contracting processes and standard forms.
• Utilize AI legal tools and MS Office to support contracting activities.
