Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support its commercial contracting function and strategic initiatives. You will draft, review, negotiate, and advise on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, AI-related offerings and partnerships.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Security, Finance and other stakeholders to enable growth, manage legal risk, and develop scalable contracting processes while leveraging AI legal tech tools and MS Office suite.

Qualifications

JD degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in good standing in the United States.
Eight+ years in-house and/or law firm experience supporting technology transactions.
Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, data processing and enterprise agreements.
Knowledge of AI-enabled products and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

Lead negotiations on software, SaaS and cloud services agreements with sales, finance, security and IT teams.
Provide strategic legal advice and resolve issues for internal stakeholders.
Engage with customers to ensure clear expectations and successful outcomes.
Suggest process improvements and new standard forms to improve efficiency.
Work with AI legal tech tools and MS Office to support contracting processes.
