Relativity seeks a Senior Counsel, AI & Legal Technology to advise on AI, product development, and legal tech matters. You will shape policy, negotiate with vendors, review AI terms, and guide the business through complex regulatory challenges.

You will partner with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to enable fast, compliant growth. The role demands strategic thinking, practical legal solutions, and ability to translate risk into actionable guidance.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar in good standing.
6+ years in-house or at a law firm supporting technology initiatives.
Deep knowledge of AI regulatory landscape (US/EU) and emerging frameworks.
Experience with software development, OSS licensing, API terms, SaaS agreements.
Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead legal advisor for AI, product development, marketing and legal technology.
Provide strategic legal advice on commercial, operational and strategic issues and timely responses.
Engage with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Partner, and Strategy teams.
Develop internal policies and contract language to enable compliant growth.
Advise on beta testing processes and product documentation improvements.
Support business stakeholders with legal review of marketing activities and collaborations.
