Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support global occupier services and enterprise project management. You will guide cost management across pre- and post-contract phases, helping project managers develop budgets that reflect procurement strategies and market conditions.

The role requires 10+ years in cost estimation, strong MS Office skills, BIM experience, and knowledge of diverse contract types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Experience with industrial cost benchmarks and related factors.
• Ability to review and challenge cost plans for quality and accuracy.
• Knowledge of contract types (Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, Open Book/cost plus fees).
• International experience on industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with BIM and cost databases.
• Self-starter with structured, organized work habits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Support PMs and the Real Estate team with budgets and cost forecasts.
• Define realistic budgets based on project requirements, procurement strategy, and contracts.
• Identify cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates through all project life-cycle stages.
• Evaluate cost control measures and review forecasts to safeguard budgets.
• Assist in value engineering, price and claim negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with PM for project success and client targets.
