Job summary

Colliers Global Occupier Services seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to support a large multinational client within Enterprise Project Management. You will be a subject matter expert dedicated to the account, providing ongoing cost estimating and budget guidance to project managers and the real estate team.

Responsibilities include developing cost-management processes, evaluating cost plans, and supporting value engineering, with proficiency in BIM, CostX or iTwo and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management.
• Special knowledge in cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and related factors.
• Ability to review and challenge cost plans for quality and accuracy.
• Understanding of common contract types for project teams.
• Must have international experience working on industrial construction projects.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience of BIM and cost databases.
• Self-starters with a structured, organized approach.
• Experience with RIB iTwo or CostX.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for cost management.
• Oversee internal construction activities and guide PMs in budgeting based on project requirements and regional codes.
• Identify significant cost risks and mitigation measures.
• Provide cost estimates across project life cycle from preliminary to detailed.
• Evaluate effectiveness of cost control measures and review forecasts.
• Leverage cost and time-efficient construction methods to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support cost optimizations through value engineering and negotiations with General Contractor.
• Collaborate closely with Project Manager for overall project success.
