Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator for a multinational client. You will support the Enterprise Project Management team by developing, implementing, and maintaining cost management processes, defining budgets, and guiding procurement strategies and contract types.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in construction management or engineering, 10+ years of cost estimating experience, international project exposure, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of cost estimating and management experience (pre- and post-contract).
• Experience with cost benchmarks for industrial buildings.
• Ability to critically review cost plans for quality and accuracy.
• Knowledge of various contract types for project teams.
• International experience on industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with BIM and cost databases.
• Structured, organized, self-starter.
• RIB iTwo or CostX or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for effective cost management.
• Guide and support PMs in defining budgets based on project requirements and procurement strategy.
• Identify significant cost risks and develop mitigation measures.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control measures and review forecasts to safeguard budget.
• Support value engineering and negotiations with General Contractors.
• Collaborate closely with PMs to deliver on client growth targets.
