Job summary

Colliers is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to support a large multinational client within Enterprise Project Management. You will craft budgets, manage costs and guide project teams on value engineering and contract decisions, enabling timely, on-budget delivery.

You will leverage BIM and cost databases, engage in cost control, and collaborate with PMs across regions to optimize outcomes while maintaining strong governance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Special knowledge in cost benchmarks for industrial facilities (manufacturing, R&D, warehouses, offices).
• Ability to review and challenge cost plans for quality/accuracy before approval.
• Knowledge of contract types (Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, Open Book/cost plus).
• Experience on international industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with BIM and cost databases; tools like CostX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Support PMs and real estate team with realistic budgets for construction projects.
• Identify cost risks and mitigate with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budgets.
• Leverage cost-effective construction methods to keep projects on time and budget.
• Assist in price negotiations with General Contractors when optimization is needed.
• Collaborate closely with Project Manager for overall project success.
