Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support a multinational industrial and office client within Enterprise Project Management. You will develop cost estimates, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies for global construction projects, collaborating with PMs and the Real Estate team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction management or engineering, 10+ years in cost estimating, and international project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; concentration in construction management, engineering or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract) required
• Special knowledge in typical cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and cost-influencing factors
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval
• Understanding of contract types (Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, Open Book/cost plus fees, BTS-Lease)
• International experience on industrial construction projects
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with BIM and cost databases

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes
• Define budgets for construction projects with PM input
• Identify cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams
• Provide cost estimates across project life cycle stages
• Support value engineering and price/claim negotiations with the GC
• Collaborate with PM to deliver on budget and schedule
