Colliers Global Occupier Services is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support cost management for large industrial and office projects. You will develop budgets, identify cost risks, and provide estimates from preliminary to detailed stages to guide project teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in construction management or engineering, 10+ years in cost estimating, knowledge of BIM, CostX or RIB iTwo, and international project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; concentration in construction management, engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract) required.
• Special knowledge in typical cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and relevant cost influencing factors.
• Ability to critically review and challenge cost plans for quality and accuracy before management approval.
• Profound understanding of contract types to consult on contract management topics.
• Must have international experience working on industrial construction projects.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Define budgets for construction projects based on requirements, procurement strategy and contract type.
• Identify significant cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates in various stages of the project life cycle from preliminary to detailed level.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budget and cash-out plans.
• Support project managers in value engineering, price, and claims negotiations with the general contractor.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager for overall project success and client targets.
