Job summary
Colliers Global Occupier Services seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to support large industrial and office client accounts. You will lead cost estimation, budgeting, and value engineering across project lifecycles, working with PMs and real estate teams globally to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Requires 10+ years in cost estimating, a construction-management/engineering background, and proficiency with BIM, CostX, and RIB iTwo.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management (pre- and post-contract).
- Knowledge of cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and relevant factors.
- Experience with international industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and cost databases.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes for projects.
- Guide PMs on budgets based on project requirements, procurement strategy and codes.
- Identify cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
- Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
- Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budget.
- Support cost optimization and value engineering with the PM and GC.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager for project success.
