Job summary

Colliers is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to support our Global Occupier Services account. You will oversee cost estimation across pre-contract and post-contract phases for industrial and office projects, guiding project managers with budgets, procurement strategies, and regional building codes.

You possess a Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, 10+ years in cost estimating, and proficiency in BIM, CostX, and iTwo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Special knowledge in cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and related factors.
• Ability to challenge cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Experience with various contract types and open-book cost models.
• International experience on industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with BIM and cost databases; familiarity with CostX or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes across projects.
• Support PMs by defining budgets based on project requirements, procurement strategy, and codes.
• Identify significant cost risks and mitigation measures.
• Provide cost estimates through all project life cycle stages.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to protect budget.
• Leverage cost-effective construction methods to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Assist in value engineering, price negotiations, and claims with GC.
• Collaborate with PMs to ensure project success and client growth.
