Job summary
Colliers Global Occupier Services seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to support multinational construction projects. You will guide budgets, prepare estimates from preliminary to detailed stages, and collaborate with PMs to keep projects on time and within budget.
The role requires international experience, strong cost-management processes, and proficiency with BIM and cost databases. Remote work is available across listed locations with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management (pre- and post-contract).
- Experience with industrial building cost benchmarks and influencing factors.
- Ability to challenge cost plans for quality and accuracy.
- Knowledge of contract types (Pre-construction partnering, Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build).
- Experience on industrial construction projects internationally.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
- Define realistic budgets for construction projects across regions.
- Identify cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
- Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
- Evaluate cost control effectiveness and forecast accuracy.
- Support value engineering and negotiations with contractors.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to meet client targets.
