Job summary

Colliers Global Occupier Services seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to support their account, providing expert cost estimation across pre- and post-contract activities for industrial and office projects. You will develop and maintain cost management processes, guide PMs, analyze risks, and assist with budgeting, value engineering, and negotiations, across international client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract) required.
• International experience on industrial construction projects is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Guide and support PMs in defining budgets based on project requirements, procurement strategy, and codes.
• Identify cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budget and cash out plan adherence.
• Support value engineering, price, and contract negotiations with the General Contractor.
• Collaborate closely with Project Manager for overall project success.
