Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator for our Global Occupier Services unit. This remote role supports industrial and office construction projects across the US with international scope.

You will develop budgets, manage costs, and assist PMs in value engineering and contract decisions to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. A decade of experience in cost estimation and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of cost estimating and management experience (pre- and post-contract).
• Special knowledge of cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and factors influencing costs.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Experience with international industrial construction projects and multiple contract types.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes for projects.
• Guide PMs and the real estate team in defining budgets based on project needs and contract types.
• Identify cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from pre‑design through detailed design stages.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to protect budget and cash flow.
• Support value engineering, price, and claims negotiations with contractors.
• Collaborate closely with PMs to deliver projects on time and within budget.
